The Quartermile becomes a boxing ring at the NitrOlympX // Boxing Championship Maibaum vs. Singh
This has never happened before at the NitrOlympX: Live boxing directly on the Quartermile! Melina Maibaum takes on the defending champion Urvashi Singh in a real top fight. The fight will take place as part of the NitrOlympX and is a WBC International Super Bantamweight title fight.
Melina Maibaum (25) from Karlsruhe has an unblemished record of 10 wins in 10 fights and has already made a name for herself on the professional scene within two years. Now Melina is challenging the title holder Urvashi Singh from Delhi in front of her home crowd, whose sporting achievements are also impressive with 11 wins in 14 fights. As a WBC ambassador for the support of women in India, Urvashi is also actively committed to the empowerment of women.
In boxing, Super Bantam is a weight class also known as Junior Featherweight. Female fighters in this class usually weigh between 55 and 57 kilograms.
Title fight before nightshow
The boxing match will take place on Saturday 24 August at 18:30 directly on the Rico Anthes Quartermile, shortly before the legendary NitrOlympX night show. A real highlight for all NOX and boxing fans.
