Nitrolympx // Drag racing excitement at the Hockenheimring

The NitrOlympX, the biggest drag racing event outside the USA, will return to the Hockenheimring from 23 to 25 August 2024: For the 37th time, the best European drag racers will meet on the Rico Anthes Quartermile in the famous Motodrom for the fastest motorsport in the world.
Approximately 230 international teams in 21 car and motorbike classes will guarantee full starting fields and non-stop racing duels. These include nine professional classes competing for FIA and FIM European Championship points. The spectacular highlight and number one crowd-puller are the Top Fuel dragsters with top speeds of over 500 km/h.
In addition to the battle for European Championship points, the numerous ambitious Sportsman classes will once again stage thrilling races on the 402.33 metre-long quarter-mile track. Spectators can also get a first-hand impression of the “goings-on behind the scenes” in the freely accessible paddock and enjoy the varied supporting programme with US car meetings, exhibitions, guided tours, hot seats, dealer and food mile and much more.
Premiere: Boxing on the quartermile before the night show
A special highlight awaits visitors this year on Saturday, as the famous NitrOlympX nightshow is getting a spectacular addition: boxer Melina Maibaum (25) from Karlsruhe will compete in the WBC International Super Bantamweight title fight against defending champion Urvashi Singh (29) from Delhi/India. The 10-round boxing bout will take place on Saturday, 24 August at 6.30 pm directly on the Rico Anthes Quartermile. The successful sporting record of both athletes promises a thrilling fight at an equal level.
This will be followed by two hours of action fireworks from 8.00 pm as part of the always eagerly awaited Night Show. This globally unique spectacle really gets down to business: show acts, breathtaking motorbike stunts, top fuelers and jet dragsters that light up the night with their flames and “burn” over the Quartermile with the force of an Apollo rocket are part of the repertoire here and offer spectators a “hot” show in the truest sense of the word. Like no other event, the NitrOlympX combines top-class sport with entertainment and a festival atmosphere.
Tickets
Friday tickets are available from 29.00 euros and a weekend ticket for three days of action costs from 75.00 euros. All tickets include access to the paddock and are available via the Hockenheimring ticket hotline +49 (0)6205 950 222 or in the online ticket shop. Fans can get that special adrenalin kick right at the start line with a hot seat ticket.
The boxing match is included in the weekend and Saturday tickets, but those who prefer something more exclusive can secure an additional ticket for the strictly limited “Knock Out Zone” directly at the boxing ring. These tickets are also available in the online ticket shop for 125 euros.
