Ferrari Challenge Europe takes centre stage at Hockenheim
The iconic Hockenheim circuit will host the third round of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Europe 2025 on the weekend of 24-25 May. The 33rd edition of the Prancing Horse’s one-make championship will feature drivers and teams competing in the Ferrari 296 Challenge – the ninth model in the series’ history. This race car, powered by a turbocharged V6 engine, is derived from the 296 GTB road car.
After the season’s opening two rounds at Monza and Misano in Italy, the Ferrari Challenge Europe heads to Germany for an intense weekend of racing, with competitors engaged across four categories: Trofeo Pirelli, Trofeo Pirelli AM, Coppa Shell, and Coppa Shell AM. Promising young talents of international motorsport and experienced gentlemen drivers will test themselves on the legendary German circuit in a championship that will later make stops at Brno (Czech Republic), Barcelona and Valencia (Spain), and Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) ahead of the season finale – the Finali Mondiali Ferrari at Mugello, Tuscany, from 21 to 26 October.
“Hockenheim occupies a prominent place in the history of our championship, having previously hosted several Ferrari Challenge rounds,” explains Andrea Mladosic, Head of Ferrari Challenge and Corso Pilota. “We are delighted to return to such an iconic venue, where our drivers will experience unique thrills.”
